2x JAPAN - Katagami / Textilien

The MAK has a widely unknown collection of Japanese textiles: kimonos, fabric fragments, ornamental cloths, embroidery and fabrics printed with katagami stencils. A selection of these objects will be shown and put in relation to the numerous katagami preserved in the Far East division, creating an overview of the MAK’s collection of Japanese textile art.
