PORCELAIN FROM THE NEOCLASSICAL ERA

This spectacular exhibition in the Neoclassical library of the Palais Liechtenstein showcases a private American collection of porcelain made in the manufactories of Berlin, Munich, Vienna and Sèvres at the turn of the 18th to the 19th century. The exhibits are notable for their classicistic ornamentation, including gilt relief, cameo painting and vivid floral motifs. The exhibits will be complemented by porcelain from the collections of the Prince von und zu Liechtenstein.
