Marie Cool and Fabio Balducci mainly do performance art. Together they create short highly sensitive pieces in which Marie Cool is the sole performer. She makes small gestures that are sometimes energetic, often slow and always precise and controlled. Her accessories are simple: chair, table, sheet of paper, fan, powder, breadcrumbs, thread, and so on. Although minimalist in their construction, these performances, in which time is suspended, express human sensibility, the fragility of things and the transient nature of existence.
