Models for tomorrow: Cologne

During the phase of its foundation, the European Kunsthalle does not have its own exhibition space. For “Models for Tomorrow: Cologne,” the institution will use the urban space with its range of publicly accessible sites. The sketches, planes, and models produced especially for this exhibition by internationally renowned artists deal with two themes: the architecture for the new exhibition space and concepts for its possible use. “Models for Tomorrow” will introduce projects and visions for an exhibition hall in the urban context and develop alternatives to institutional presentations of art.
